Norwegian numbers in words
Type a number and see how to write and say it in Norwegian.
Numbers are written either with spaces (to hundre og femti) or as one word (tohundreogfemti). Both are correct. Between hundreds and the rest you say «og»: hundre og tjue (120).
You may also hear the old way of counting, especially from older people: enogtjue instead of tjueen (21). And you will see syv and tyve instead of sju and tjue (7, 20).
